The idea for KLAUWE, the BBQ & smoking drum, was born from the collaboration of three passionate barbecue enthusiasts. Countless evenings spent grilling together raised the question: Why wasn't there a barbecue that combined all the facets of grilling while looking rugged and stylish? The solution was clear: a system that could grill, bake, smoke, and slow cook, all in one. After extensive brainstorming and testing, we found our inspiration in an oil drum, providing the perfect volume, ideal grill height, and a bold aesthetic. Thus, KLAUWE was born, ready to revolutionize the BBQ world.

Innovative Multi-Level Cooking System

To fully utilize the drum's volume, we developed the patented Multi-Level Cooking (MLC) System. This system allows all barbecue functions to be integrated into one module. The heat source can be easily adjusted to different heights, making smoking, indirect grilling, slow cooking, and traditional grilling more accessible than ever. These functions can even be performed consecutively during the same barbecue session, enhancing versatility and convenience.

Perfecting the BBQ Experience

Our enthusiasm grew as we refined and tested the MLC system, creating delicious dishes like Chicken on Can, smoked salmon, and grilled ribeye. To maintain a consistent temperature, we incorporated a water reservoir, which also enhanced the cooking environment. The result was perfectly tender, flavorful dishes, like our 4-hour slow-cooked ribs that fell off the bone. Sharing these culinary successes with fellow BBQ lovers solidified the unique concept of KLAUWE.

Heating the drum to over 325 degrees Celsius, we achieved pizza perfection on a cast iron plate, impressing even the toughest critics in our family. Switching temperatures and adjusting the heat source is simple, enabling you to prepare various dishes without hassle.
